Air Filters - 14" x 18" x 1"

If you have not changed out your furnace, your air filter is likely 14" x 18" x 1" and should be changed out every 1 - 3 months for the best efficiency.   14" x 18" can be a difficult size to find.  Fortunately Publix at the corner of S. Cobb and the East West Connector carries them.  Click for Directions: Publix, 4480 S. Cobb Drive, Smyrna, GA.  (5 miles / 10 minutes away).  The Publix across from Home Depot also carries them: 2451 Cumberland Pkwy SE, Atlanta, GA  30339. (5 miles / 8 minutes).

Filters can also be ordered at Amazon.com in 4, 6 or 12 packs.  The most inexpensive 4 pack appears to be this 14 x 18 filter.  The higher the MERV rating the higher the effectiveness (and usually the cost) of the air filter.

Can not recycle these: No metal hangers or wires.

Plastic Containers: #1 and #2 plastic bottles (basically soda, water, juice, milk, shampoo and detergent bottles)  If you can find a #1 or #2 on the bottle, toss it in the bin.
Can not recycle these: No plastic bags, no Styrofoam
